I was quite confused for a long time and was thinking what is going on, when my favorite web based mail was behaving oddly. I don't know whether the problem is universal or not, but it is in my case. I can't work on Yahoo! Mail from Opera 9.21.
None of the shortcuts are working and even I can't reply any mail. All the functionalities of Yahoo! Mail are down. Even I can't create a new mail. The delete option also not working and I have to drag the mails in the Trash. The drag functions are working, but all others have become useless. What a painful situation!
I don't know whats the problem, but I can say I fulfill the system requirements of Yahoo! Mail. I am really willing to know whether you also face the same problem, or it's only me the victim. I also consider the fact that Opera has some problems with complex JavaScript, specially when the scripts run one on another. Opera is quite well known to perform low with high end JavaScript libraries.
But this if this is something that is very well known to Yahoo!, then it is going be painful for them too. These small things are really going to take Yahoo! down. Whatever they are planning to counter it, should be implemented fast. Hope Yahoo! users' favorite web mail remains favorite as usual.
